Soft Plastic Making
Where is a good place to look if I want to buy soft plastic molds that closely resemble a 1) Zoom Speed Worm 2) Zoom Fluke 3) Just some stick bait and 4) A swimbait that resemble a Gambler or Reaction Innovations it something along those lines? What all would I need to buy and what would an estimate of price to start making baits?

Fishing Large, Grassy Lakes
So, I’m finally getting out on a pretty big lake near me. There are about 4 boat ramps and you can run gas motors and stuff. There are pads everywhere. For the most part, the only place there aren’t pads is because it is an area where boats constantly go through. However, there are two or three long, wide strips of water at about 8 feet deep that runs into submerged grass. They are lined by pads on both side. I threw spinnerbaits, swimjigs, worms, rattle traps, and swimbaits down the weedline and out in the middle and didn’t get a nibble. It’s been two trips now and it’s pretty frustrating. I know I can try punching but there is just pads everywhere and yea I know you can find small wholes or a tree sticking out or any other difference but it’s honestly just overwhelming. Any thing will help. Sincerely, A very overwhelmed fisherman

Reel Decisions
Looking to add a new reel to my arsenal. Trying to stay fairly low priced. I'm looking at the new Gen 4 Revos(all of them), *** Concept "A", *** ***, or any of the Curados. I'm open to other ideas too. Anything helps, thanks:)

Swimbaits
I live in Florida and some of y'all may know that bass here love swimbaits. I really love throwing them on top over mats and grassy areas. I catch a lot of fish and this is the only time you'll see me say that's a problem. I've had no luck finding a swimbait that is durable AND has good action. I've tried the big brands like Gambler and RI and caught fish but most swimbaits only last a fish or two if you're lucky. Another thing is hooks, I've been using Gammy EWG worm hooks and they're bending like crazy. Any recommendations for heavier duty hooks preferably other a screw lock would be great.

Skinny Dipper vs Big EZ
I've recently been killing it on both brands of these swimbaits being reeled over mats of hydrilla. I've found the skinny dipper to be a lot more durable. However, the EZs have better kicking action displace more water. At a local store, Gamblers are about a dollar cheaper for the same amount of swimbaits, however, if they aren't as durable, is Reaction Innovations a better choice? I just want to see what yalls opinions are for these baits mainly reeled on top. Try to take into consideration price, durability, and the ability to entice big fish of course.

Rod for the Revo SX?
I just purchased a Abu Garcia Revo SX in a 7.1:1 gear ratio. I'm going to pair it with a 7'3" Heavy rod. I'm looking to keep it under $130. I just wanna see if anyone has any that pair really nice or that look sweet together.

Powell Inferno vs Dobyns Fury
I'm considering two new rods. I'm looking at a 7'3" Heavy. They are both $110. I've heard good stuff about both brands. I'm really looking for an opinion from someone who has tried both. But, it would also help to hear from someone who absolutely loves one of the two.

Daiwa Tatula Tactical?
So, I've heard mixed reviews about Daiwa products. The Tatula Tactical looks pretty sweet to me and I was looking for some honest opinions on whether or not it is worth the money.

Swim Jig Trailers
I'm looking to get into swim jig fishing more. Most of the lakes I fish are clear and 8 feet deep at the most. I also occasionally fish other lakes that are murky and about 5 feet deep at the most. I would really like paddletail swimbait recomendations as these are what look most realistic to me. If it makes any difference, I always fish a 3/8 oz size.

Mud hole with huge bass (NOT CARP) and shad but no bites
I have a pond the exact same way. Very small and very muddy but me and friends have caught 3 9+ LMBs. I recommend a black and blue swim jig or as crazy as it may sounds topwater. The Whopper Plopper is a great choice. I caught two 5s back-to-back.

New rods and reels
Ok, so as of right now I have two setups. I have a spinning rod I use for wacky rigs, shakey heads, drop shots, etc. and it works great for me. Then, I have a Lews LFS Speed Spool with a 6.8:1 gear ratio and a St. Croix Mojo Bass that is 7' MH Fast action rod. I'm selling a kayak and will use the money for another setup. Only problem is I don't know what to get. I fish lakes that are no deeper than 10 feet deep, usually sandy bottom or wood structure, and fairly small in general. These lakes don't allow gas motors if that helps with size. I live in Florida and every summer grass covers some lakes. I don't know what to get to add to my arsenal. I love fishing Texas rigs, cranks, jigs, jerkbaits, and frogs whenever I get the chance. Any suggestions help!

Arkie Jigs??
So, I like jig fishing but don't do it often. I have a few swim jigs but haven't had luck on them. I prefer the casting type. But, I've heard Arkie stlye heads are good. The only problem is I don't know a good brand for them. Any ideas?

Travel Baicaster
I'll be sure to check the Ardith and Citrix out!

Travel Baicaster
I'm looking to get a nice baitcasting travel rod for all around use. I'd keep it in my truck and when I go to baseball tournaments or out of town it'll be sitting in my truck. I'd like it to be 6'6" or a bit bigger. I'd say maybe a MH.

What rod and reel to use for Texas rigs?
Rod: 7' St. Croix Mojo Bass MH Reel: Lew's Speed Spool 6.8:1 Line: 17 lb mono (not a braid fan) Weight: 3/16 oz has worked best for all around I'm the same way as you. I constantly have a Texas rig tied on. I'll fish it in most clear, shallow water. This setup has provided everything I've ever asked for.
