I'm looking to get a nice baitcasting travel rod for all around use. I'd keep it in my truck and when I go to baseball tournaments or out of town it'll be sitting in my truck. I'd like it to be 6'6" or a bit bigger. I'd say maybe a MH.

I have Diawa's Ardito (7', M/F) travel rod I mount a 7.1:1 T3 Ballistic to. It's typical Diawa build quality and as sensitive as I need.

Good luck picking a travel rod.

Oh yeah, it fits behind my '06 4-dr Tundra's back seat nicely.

Don't know much about them, but the Diawa Ardito has gotten some very good reviews.  I will let you know soon because I ordered  one today. 7'6" MH.  I travel with a two piece Carbonlite spinning rod, and a two piece 7'1" MH One Three fishing rod now. Both do a great job. I just wanted something that would break down smaller.  There are more expensive options out there, but I just refuse to spend over $300 on a travel rod.

I'll be sure to check the Ardith and Citrix out!

I can say for a fact that you wont be disappointed with Okuma rods.... I've used the EVX and C3-40X and they've only served to meet my expectations.

I use a fenwick methods.  It packs up small enough that I can carry on a plane. It has 5 pieces (3 pieces to make a rod) so you switch between fast or moderate action and MH and H power.  Works for me.
