  1. Hello, from Bullit Co. Ky. Well I have been checking out this site for quite sometime finally decided to join. I have learned so much from this site already. I am thirty-six years old and have loved to fish all my life, but just started bass fishing pretty much exclusively about three years ago. Me and the wife had a night without our two kids, as tomorrow is the running of the Kentucky Oaks which we will be attending. Grandparents are watching them for the weekend, so that we can drink bourbon and bet the ponies. So anyway we went out fishing. Wife caught several nice bluegill, and I cought three bass in about two hours on the water. First one was about a pound and half, off the bed. Second came twitching a green pumpkin w/ red flake senko. Well at that time it was starting to get dark and the wife was ready to go. So I threw on a black S/K mini buzz to work the bank on the way back. Five cast later landed a nice five pounder. Put up a nice fight and even pulled a little drag. All in all a great evening.
  2. Here in Ky, fish and wildlife will test your water and help you with your pond management free of charge. Maybe try your local fish and wildlife office. All they can say is no.
