I agree with what others have said! I would go for the fs12t. It's a bit lighter in wieght but would better suit your needs.

Brother has one and he loves his. Hes dropped it in water a couple times and nothing! I have an otter box although it does do good with dripps its cannot be submersed. I have spilled water and drinks on mine and nothing happened! I will probably get a lifeproof when im on the boat or or near water.

Just got myself a xds 9mm. Ive been carring for about two years now and carried a glock 27 for the majority of those two years. I rotate between my ruger lcp and my xds. I gotta say though i love the xds. I agree with many use whatever is comfertable. No use getting something you wont carry. Any gun is better than no gun! Eddie
