3771 is Plano's slim custom box. They also make a slim 3600 box but iit doesn't have the custom dividers like the 3771, can't remember the model number for the 3600 slim
  2. Been using Yo-Zuri for years and love it. Never had and problems with it, super strong very manageable. I live live by if it ain't broke don't fix it.
  3. That is too cool.

  5. Duckett does offer Macro Magic Rods for those who prefer regular sized guides.
  6. My fishing partner has one and loves it, he's planning on getting more. I haven't fished with it but have held it and it's super light. I'm thinking about trying one out after my partner has been raving about them. That and the fact that the guy making them is local to us we live not to far away from Guntown. Always like to support local businesses. The local tackle shop that we go to a lot has the Hammer Rods and the owner says that Shane is a real stand up guy.
  7. Yeah I"ve ordered a few times from them. Got a great deal on my Abu revo mgx last year from them.
  8. I just got the Cabela's Advanced Anglers Waist Pack last week and absolutely love it. It will hold 2 3600 boxes and had tons of other storage for soft plastics water bottle holders on each side, one felt lined compartment for phones and such. I've been out with it 3 times so far and it's very comfortable, yesterday hiked to few ponds around 3 miles and didn't even notice pack was there. It's a big improvement from my older cheapo waistpack. By the way they have them on sale now for $40, just my luck I purchased mine a week before they put them on sale. http://www.cabelas.com/product/Fishing/Tackle-Storage/Tackle-Bags|/pc/104793480/c/104777280/sc/104619780/Cabelas-Advanced-Anglers8482-Waist-Pack/1571764.uts?destination=%2Fcatalog%2Fbrowse%2Ftackle-bags%2F_%2FN-1100378%2FNs-CATEGORY_SEQ_104619780%3FWTz_l%3DSBC%253BMMcat104793480%253Bcat104777280&WTz_l=SBC%3BMMcat104793480%3Bcat104777280%3Bcat104619780
  9. Just got the email 10% Tax Stimulus Discount now through 4-18-14
  10. I like to and do have several combos but honestly when it comes down to need , I only really NEED one. Yeah takes longer to change lures but it's no big deal and can always use a speed clip. To each his own it's great having a ton of combos but that turns to want instead of need.
  11. Been using them for a week or so and love them.
  12. I would prob get the 12 ducketts but for different reasons than everyone else. Every manufacturers power and action are different makes things easier to compare if they are the same brand. I actually have a White Ice rod and love it, the only thing I would like to change is for it to have cork handles. That's just a preference thing though I know some people love foam I just prefer cork. Speaking of other high end rods, I've always wanted a G-Loomis rod ever since I was a kid and last year broke down and got a GLX. I really do love it but in all honesty I don't think it's worth twice what I payed for the white ice. I heard someone else on here mention it before when you get into gear that is that expensive you get to the point of diminishing returns.
  13. Yeah I watched them all when I was a kid. Have to say Bill Dance Outdoors was my favorite. I remember when I was a kid fishing from the bank at Pickwick seeing Bill with the film crew up there twice. Once the camera guys were filming, Bill told me to cast out to the boat. I was around 10 or 11 and was so excited when I got home had to tell all my friends about it. The other time we were again fishing from the bank by the d**n lakeside on the rip rap. In the distance I saw that tell tell Tennessee hat and got all excited and told my father look look its Bill and he's coming this way. I'll never forget that day when he got close he pulled up asked how we were doing and talked with us for a good while before motoring on. Always thought that was pretty cool of him and had a lot of respect for him after that.
  14. Awesome fish, looks like you had a great day.
  15. For me it's just the fun and relaxation of being outdoors, like Ron said the peace and quite, having fun with friends and the chance of catching that fish of a lifetime. In the end it's like the old saying goes " a bad day fishing is better than a good day working"
  16. I'm right there with ya on this one, super confidence bait for me. I feel if there's a bass around he's just not going to be able to resist that senko shimmy.
  17. Heck yeah I have a 9 year old Australian Sheperd I bring him along every chance I get. He gets so excited when he sees me getting my fishing stuff ready.
  18. Saw a Bald Eagle last year at a watershed lake, pretty rare in my area. It was pretty cool I saw it from a good distance and didn't realize it was an eagle. We got the boat a little closer and saw the nest in a pine tree right by the water. We spent 30 minutes just watching it. Got a good look at it grabbing a fish ans watched it head back to the nest, and noticed a baby in the nest. That made for a good fishing trip that day.
  19. Wow that was awesome!
  20. Thanks guys it was definetly an adrenaline rush. Someone asked what I caught it on, it was a watermelon silver flake Berkley Havoc the Jerk.
