  1. Rodman is so tough right now along with lochloosa.. The only luck I've had at either its flipping the absolute heaviest cover you can find. Late afternoon i caught a couple cranking just outside the river channel at rodman also
  2. Where are you coming from? I can help point you in the right direction of some lakes where you will catch plenty of bass all the way through july..as long as there's deep water (10-20ft) unlike lochloosa you can still slay em crankin
  3. Lochloosa has been terrible lately. The water temps are getting high and the bite is going to nothing. The last two times I've fished it ive got less than 10 bites total with most of them being dinks. Unless you're fishing it in a tournament (like i had to) i would honestly go somewhere elsr
  4. I use a 7.6" skeet reese heavy cover with micro guides. 65lb braid on a diawa megaforce 7.2:1 baitcaster
  5. I'm buying a pelican bass hunter 10e tomirrow that is used. Only problem is the seats and mounts are missing. Anybody know where i cab get them cheap? Also has anybody fished out of these boats? I'm planning on using it as my pond hopper

    What part of Florida?
  7. I've fished just about every lake in the national forest.. If you're wanting to catch a LOT of bass go to mil dam, but if you're wanting to catch fewer, better fish i would fish bryant and halfmoon if you can get your boat in it.. I have yet to catch anything over 5lbs in the ponds out there..stick to the lakes!
  8. Well, as expected.. Low weigh in for the tourney.. 11.75lbs won it..i weighed in at 10.32lbs..started the day throwing horny toads and ribbit frogs and didn't catch anything but a gar. Started throwing a black and blue jig with a junebug fluke as a trailer and caught all my fish on it. Also flipped grasslines and pads and lost a monster.. But it was the only bite i got in about an hour of straight flipping
  9. I use 15lb p-line fluoro and use the palomar knot..never hard any issues
  10. Hardly ever will braid help you cast farther..are you using the rod for nothing but wacky rigging or for worm fishing in general? In all honesty I've always thrown finesse/trick worms on spinning reels spooled with 8-10lb mono..hard to beat the versatility of spinning rods with light lures
  11. I have a huge variety of jigs, so ill add then to the box, along with a buzzbait,chatterbait..any other suggestions?
  12. I was really looking for lures lol, but i think my spro frog will do the trick
  13. I always keep 2 rods (a 7'6" flipping stick and a 6'9" medium heavy veritas) in my truck, and typically have baits scattered all over the place, but I've decided I'm going to take a single 8 slot box to keep in the truck for trips. I currently have senkos, trick worms, flukes, lipless cranks, and spinnerbaits. What else should i put in it?
  14. I throw flukes tied directly onto the braid through pads when I'm fishing them topwater..weightless on 12-15lb fluoro..i also usually fish the trick worms with a 1/8oz bullet on 10lb mono or weightless on 12lb fluoro, but i also have caught most of my big fish (6lbs+) flipping solid black trick worms on 50-65lb braid in heavy cover with. a 1/2oz tungsten. What shakey heads do you guys use?
  15. Does anybody fish flukes and trickworms on braid or fluoro? I know everybody around here good crazy when i tell them i fish flukes on 15lb fluoro and 40lb power pro
