Not at all I have no secrets. this particular fish was caught on a 1/2 ounce white chatter bait with a 4.5" lake fork live majic shad as a trailer white also. It went 7.05lbs for 7th over all in the oakley tournament. we were all the way in the back of soap creek. we also caught several flipping a 3/8 and 1/2 ounce jig green pumpkin with orange. with a 4.2 beaver trailer in tramp stamp color going down the bank flipping bushes toward the powerlines on the right bank. water was so dirty you only got bit if your flip was right on the base of bushes. every fish we caught was in less than about 3 feet.

Pulled this one out of soap creek. What I figured out was to find dirty water. Every fish we caught was in less than 3 feet. I had to raise my trolling motor up to even be able to fish it. We were very lonely where I was in soap creek. Only saw 1 other boat all morning. Everyone else we passed on the way in was fishing deep. I couldn't get anything going out there.
