Most Frog users tie directly to the braid.

I am about to be in the market for a lews reel. Will be pairing with a duckett micro magic heavy rod with 50 pound braid for frogging heavy cover etc. Which Lews reel would you recommend for that setup?

Hello I am trying to get about 3 more baitcasting setups. I currently have one that is 6'6 MH with 15 pound fluro. So I plan on getting 3 more baitcasting setups and need help deciding the rods I need for the setups. I plan on getting duckett ghost or micro magic rods. So one of the Rods I would like to use for frogging, pitching, and heavy cover applications. The other two I do not have specfic applications in mind yet but I usually throw soft plastics, spinnerbaits, and crankbaits. So what setups do you suggest I get?

I made a thread about Senkos a while back but I will ask my question again. I was fishing a GY Senko Wacky rigged with a VMC 2/0 wacky weedless hook the other day (through the "band" on senko) lost two of them when I tried to set the hook on something it came back with just the hook. What am I doing wrong? Does everyone use O Rings when using Senkos wacky style?

So I was fishing with a Senko for the first time today on a wacky weedless hook. The fish were biting but twice when I went to set the hook I only came back with the hook no Senko. Then another time I was casting and the senko flew right off the hook. Need some help figuring out what I did wrong.
