Can this bait be fished successfully for largemouth? Im assuming it can easily. What size hook for a large wide gap worm hook would work? Im curious to try this weedless rig in a pond or something. What do you guys know about this bait for freshwater

Something I have wondered for a while now. I live in southern California and my guess would be they would still work since bass are an aggressive fish that will take most opportunities for food. Im not even sure if they live in Cali.

I fish a shallow pond/river on a golf course quite often. I've had good luck mostly because the fishing is easy, but I want to try some topwater baits. There are some mattes on the water as well. I recently purchased a popper and a topwater frog and I'm excited to try them out, but in what ways should I go about doing so. Oh yea, the frog is all black (BPS Kermy) and the popper is black with a silver belly (another BPS bait). Tell me what works for you guys while fishing shallow topwaters.

Hello, I have a question regarding night fishing on the grand lake in oklahoma. Me and my friend do not have a boat but have started fishing at night here. We fish the shallow coves. The water can be from about 1- 8 feet where we fish. It is also warm. My question is: what baits should be use? During a full moon? Rain? Dark Nights? And also what colors for baits and advice on how to fish them at night. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
