What kind are you wearing? The one time I wore a Sospenders, I found it to be a PITA. The Mustang I have now is so comfortable I forget I'm wearing it.

Decent, not great. You could do worse for $50. I hate the handle and foregrip on these rods.

They aren't really all that fast. The 7' MH is a decent spinnerbait rod.

Here's the stamp on the cable. Here's the cable going to the motor. Am I correct in assuming that I'll need to loosen the nut at the transom in order to remove the old cable? The current system is R&P, I'm going to replace it with a rotary. I'm going with an 11' cable since the old one is 11'.

I think you would love WV. Plenty of remote area in which to get lost.

I thought that was only a Wisconsin thing. ;D We had Piggly Wiggly's around here for years. The last one closed about 6 or 7 years ago.

WV is the closest thing to the Rockies you'll find in the east.

why you say that? thats the first negative thing ive ever heard about bps rods except the power hump I'm trying to be Mr Non-negative, but... BPS rods aren't bad when they're on sale. Any of them at full retail are ripoffs. I've fished everything they've got from the Tourney Special to the Pro Qualifier and haven't cared for them. The only BPS rods I've remotely cared for are two Crankin' Sticks. The Tourney Special is junk, the Extremes and Pro Qualifiers are heavy and about as sensitive as fishing the aforementioned 2x4 with paper clip guides. IMO there are much better rods on the market at the various price points. I'm honestly surprised BPS sells any rods at full retail.

I took the wife down there for a drive a couple years ago so she could see the "real" culture WV has to offer. Needless to say, I was out of there before sundown. Try driving from Williamson to Charleston at 2AM.
