Burley's Random Photo of the Day - What's that behind you?

I know this is about Flouro, but does the cinching with the tag end apply to my sufix siege as well? I wet with saliva but cinch down with the main line. But I have not had any problems. It is a good habit to start with any line.- Beginning Baitcaster
Don't go cheap. Reel suggestion? Shimano Citica 200E- Knot problems
That is because flouro is very susceptible to friction. With lubrication before cinching, that friction is reduced and the line isn't weakened.- Knot problems
Your knot is breaking. Learn to tie a better palomar. Lubrication is the key. Do not cinch the knot by pulling on the mainline, cinch using the tag end. If you cinch a flouro knot and the line is curly above the knot, cut off and retie, you've burned the flouro and ruined the line above the knot.- Knot problems
What does the tag end of the line look like after the 'knot slips'? Is it curly or does it have a J-hook at the end?- New Shimano Core
Tackle Warehouse has the reel up, no photos yet though. http://www.***.com/descpageRLCSHIMANO-SC50MG.html- Best lures for the price!
A plug knocker will pay for itself in one or two trips.- Best lures for the price!
But Rapala isn't a 'cheap' brand. The DT series retail from $7-12. That DT-20 isn't much cheaper than a Lucky Craft CD D-20.- Knot problems
There is nothing wrong with Vanish. What type of knot are you tying?- Best lures for the price!
It isn't just the tuning, it's the hooks and other hardware. It is the paint. It is the quality. And you do get what you pay for. You're going to spend the money one way or the other, so why not get it right the first time?- If the state record is in there......
Sweet jeebus, put on some d**n clothes. I wonder if a valid fishing license is required for state record submissions?- Best lures for the price!
Yes, you get what you pay for. With $3 crankbaits, one in five may run right out of the box. I've never had a Lucky Craft not run right out of the box. With a $3 spinnerbait, the wire may last for three or four fish. The swivel will seize up after one trip. With a Terminator, those concerns do not come into the equation. So while a $3 crank may be the best for the price for one person, I buy a LC because I know it will outlast any other bait. I'm not just paying for the name, I'm paying for the quality of the bait.- New Shimano Core
Mmmm, that photo makes me happy in pant.- Is it possible?
Tom and I were in IHOP Sunday morning after our tournament. A group of golfers came in, every one of them ordered ice milk. First time I've heard someone order milk in a restaurant in a long time.- Which sunglasses are better?
Don't bet on it. Wear a pair of the cheap glasses for a day, then a pair of quality polarized glasses. There is a great decrease in eye fatigue. Not all polarization is the same. The cheap glasses have a polarized lens treatment, while the Costas, Maui Jims, etc. have the polarization built into the lens. Optics is one area where you definitely get what you pay for.- Best lures for the price!
Quality matters more than price. You may look at a $3 bait and think it is a great deal. I look at a $15 bait and know it is a good deal.- .49c Taco Bell Tacos
I doubt if you want to know. I get a craving for the Bell every now and then. That (usually) quarterly experience is enough for me.- Carrot Stix are Orange...........snookums
There has been no price change. The LTX has always retailed for $150, the Gold for $200 and the Classic Gold for $250. right, seems i was confusing their LTX for the Gold. Perhaps you should edit the thread title?- Carrot Stix are Orange...........snookums

Finally, a sane person!!! Thank You Mr. Senko!!!!! And now with E21 maybe "going down" where will your lifetime warranties go!?! The same place any lifetime warranty would go if a company went out of business. : - Knot problems
