Does anyone have any experience drop shotting in muddy water?

I ordered my led strips, 2 white ones and 1 red one, going to get some wire after work today then ill be waiting on the delivery truck

Soldering isnt a problem for me, a rheostat and the magnetic contacts is a great idea. Did you cut the strips to fit in the locker and then solder wires to the portion that you cut off and use that in another locker?

Glad I'm not the only person to get in the water to get a lure, I've fished with people that think I'm weird for jumping in for a spinnerbait or whatever but man I can't stand losing lures, a hook and worm is one thing but a spinnerbait or crank bait gets snagged and I'm getting in to get my money back LOL

Those light look awesome, that's pretty much the look that I want. I was thinking about some red lights on the sides of my deck or do you think it would be too distracting or affect eyesight at night?

Im putting in some led lights in my storage compartments and rewiring my 24 volt trolling motor, what gauge of wire would you use for the trolling motor and should i put in a breaker? For the led lights should I run separate wires for each light or is there some kind of power distribution that i can use? Any tips or ideas would be greatly appreciated

For all of you guys that spend hundreds of dollars on reels, what is the quality difference between one that costs 200 and one that costs 50. I use black max reels right now and I'm looking at getting a couple new ones soon, just wondering what the differences are and if it would benefit me to upgrade.

Can someone explain how to do it and what the benefits are? Do they both run on the same transducer?

I just got a 91 champion with a 175 merc, does anyone have tips to get better fuel efficiency? And when I go full throttle it takes a long time to get up on plane, is there anything i can do to help out with that?

I just purchased my first boat today, a 1991 19 foot champion with a 175 merc and a 54 pound thrust trolling motor , no graphs but hopefully getting some soon, ill post pictures of it tomorrow when I take it fishing for the first time

Well my budget is pretty tight so im looking at older bass tracker. If any of you guys that have pics of any modifications you have done to your boats would be great if I could see them. I've got quite a few ideas so far of what i would like, how big does a rodlocker need to be for say...15 poles baitcasters and spinning rods mixed? I know that I'm goin to be limited on space but do you have any tips to maximize what I will have?

My name is Zach, I'm new to the site. I mostly fish creeks for bass, I don't discriminate between smallmouth and largemouth they are both just as exciting to catch. My pb largemouth I didn't get to weigh but I would guess between 8 and 10 pounds and my pb smallmouth is close to 3 pounds. I just started fishing lakes and I'm in the process of looking for a boat, probably an older bass tracker or something like that. I'm married and my wife loves to fish with me, she will say she outfishes me but she only fishes for the aggressive perch, goggle eye and occasional bass. There seems to be a lot of good information on the site and I'm looking forward to lots of future posts
