  1. Just get an Abu 6000 or 7000.
  2. I caught a 17" out of my kayak while dragging a full size brush hog through some sunken trees. I thought I had a decent bass. Nope, huge crappie
  3. I went to buy one today, couldn't find it for the base model or DI. I know Humminbird will change out transducers, but is there anywhere I could order the Helix 5 base or DI model with a trolling motor transducer?
  4. I'd appreciate it. I can't get a good gauge on how big the screen is. I hope it's bigger than my cell phones!
  5. Could you post a picture with you holding the unit or any other better size comparison?
  6. 95 degrees yesterday and today. HOT!
  7. My College friend Cory for put me on fish today. https://www.facebook.com/TennesseeValleyMuskieAuthority First fish 45" Second fish 46.5" Melton Hill Lake, Oak Ridge, TN
  8. Here in about 5 weeks it's dropshot fishing time. Fatigue from spinning reels is real. My wrist already aches.
  9. Drop shot, big worms and 5XD and 6XDs are what we're catching em on up here. I'm finding fish from 9-22'.
  10. Spot remover and trick worms. I also like spot removers and rage craws if I fell like losing money :tongue8: <---- that's what the fish do with Rage Baits.
  11. Slider heads exclusively for all my salamanders.

I've almost started to flsh flukes exclusively with underspins. I catch big fish routinely with them.
  13. I have a 15 year old Ugly Stick that I fish out of my kayak with, I wouldn't trade it for anything. I've told my wife that it's probably one of my prized possesions. I've caught more fish with it than probably any two rods I've combined.
  14. Strike King Series 5 and 6. I fish Sexy Shad pretty routinely in clear water. My bite lately is on the XD Strike Kings. Chart Shad and Sexy Shad. Two weeks ago they were on 3XD. Last week 5XD. This week I stocked up on 6XDs in case they are deeper.
