  1. Green pumpkin, PB&J, Electric Grape, White Ice (for Flukes).
  2. Burt lake in Michigan?
  3. I'm in need of some new sunglasses. I was wondering if anyone has run across any companies that cater to fishermen that do prescription sunglasses?
  4. Ahhhh, those wippers!
  5. Wippers?
  6. Interesting, I was in some pretty good current. I felt the same about it killing the action.
  7. Stopped to Fish a river on the way home. I had small travel tackle box with me this evening so my choices were limited and then I discovered I had no hooks that I normally use for my Flukes. I tried a keel weighted 3/32 oz. 4/0 Owner with the screw lock. I was fishing a river so I figured the keel weight would be ok. I wasn't real happy with the action of the bait. Does anyone use this type of hook with a Fluke? If so, how do you fish it?
  8. I don't mind the commercials. These sites cost money to run and this one is well worth taking 30 extra seconds to watch a commercial at the beginning of the video.
  9. Mighty Bite is the greatest thing since sliced bread!
  10. Shimano Citica, 7' MH Diawa Aird. Lews Speed Spool, 6 1/2' M Berkley Lightning Rod (the old style)! These are my two favorite setups.
  11. A 2500 Symetre is what I use exclusively for bass. I've been using Symetre's for years. Quality reel, smooth drag and will take a beating! IMHO it's the perfect spinning reel for bass. I have several setup on different rods. 2 - 7' med, a 6 1/2' med, and a 6 1/2' medium light.
  12. When I started using baitcasters, I started out with some cheaper models, can't remember the brands any longer, but when I bought my first Ryobi I was hooked! I believe Ryobi made the Lews reels back then. Ryobi eventually quit making the reels. From then on its been Lews and Shimano. The Citica mainly, on the Shimano side.
  13. I love Berkley Powerbait plastics!
  14. Nice looking bass. He seems to have adapted well to your pond. Love the name!
  15. Using those two methods totally changes the action and dynamics of the bait.
  16. Yes, pics?
  17. I use my good ole trusty, very sharp pocket knife.
  18. Lews Speed Spool. Rebate is good until 8/31.
