  1. I Have been wake boarding etc last few years at Pickwick with the family. Decided to get a Ranger 520vx to occupy my time while the family sleeps in. It has been 15 years since I had a bass boat and was fishing. Just posting up see how many people are on here that fish pickwick regularly. I have been soaking up all I can and trying to learn by putting in time. I have been out with a guide couple times but cant stand much of that at $300 a trip. Any tips or pointers are appreciated. Trying to keep my 11 year old interested by putting him on some fish and we have had pretty good start. Most importantly having fun. I will be on vacation from this saturday through the 4th and plan to stay there the whole time in the yellow creek area. Thanks for any replies
  2. I just signed up on the site and am new to pickwick fishing this year. Recently bout a ranger 520 vx, been 20 years since i had a bass boat. I have been catching em on brush hogs in 17-25 ft of water. Have caught some on crankbait but not near as many as plastics.
