  1. OK thanks for the advise and offer. If I do decide to keep them I will contact you for info on having them evaluated and or repaired if need be.
  2. I posted this in the tackle forum and figured I would drop the question in here as well. I was given 2 reels and narrowed down my research to a mid 70's 5500c and mid 90's 6500c3. I was told to research and make fair offer. I will post pics of serial numbers and reels later if it helps. I was looking for info on price, what type of fishing they are good for and age. If anyone can help I would appreciate it. Oh, they are both in great condition can not see any defect is mechanics or appearance. Thanks, Ryan
  3. I was given these two reels and told to research and make a fair offer. One I have narrowed down to a mid 70's model 5500c and the other ( the 6500c3) seems to be a more recent model maybe mid 90's. I am trying to find out their worth, what type of fishing they are good for and their age. I can post pics later this afternoon of serial numbers and the reel if it helps. Anyone have any input? Thanks, Ryan
  4. My girl was always picking on me for my obsession with fishing.....So I took her with me and put her on some hot spots and sure enough after she snagged her first one she is out with me everyday rain or shine. We have made a little competition of it and she is not to be taken lightly either.
  5. Thanks for the welcome! Glad I found the Bass Resource, so far lovin it. I have found clubs in my area to check out and hopefully some good people to chat about our adventures with. Ryan

  7. I'm new to fresh water fishing. I have grown up on the beach my entire life and at 28 got my first taste of the fresh water and I am HOOKED! I fish atleast 2 hours a day if not multiple times through out the day everyday and have for the last year, rain or shine! If any one is around or familiar with north Tampa, Land O Lakes, Lutz area hit me up. I am always up for a new adventure as long as I can fish it and learn something new.
