I posted this in the tackle forum and figured I would drop the question in here as well. I was given 2 reels and narrowed down my research to a mid 70's 5500c and mid 90's 6500c3. I was told to research and make fair offer. I will post pics of serial numbers and reels later if it helps. I was looking for info on price, what type of fishing they are good for and age. If anyone can help I would appreciate it. Oh, they are both in great condition can not see any defect is mechanics or appearance.

Those reels are tanks and perfectly fishable if they've been cared for. They may be a little overkill for bass but make good swimbait or muskie reels. You can check the auction site for completed sales to see what others a re actually paying. If you decide to pull the trigger and want them checked out mechanically, you can have them shipped to me and then forwarded to you.
