  1. "TOOL" I like System of a down to. ..
  2. While I can't vouch for the other two reels. The curados I've used have been fantastic reels. For the money I don't think you could go wrong with them.
  3. Any of those left handed? If so contact me, might be interested. My zillion tws I have cast like a dream and is butter smooth. I'm sure you couldn't go wrong with the new ones.
  4. Seems simple to me. ....keep them all.
  5. When I was a kid and my dad took me fishing he always had a saying that we would quote before we started. If we forgot we felt like we weren't going to catch anything. To this day I'll still say out loud even if I'm by myself. "Bass, walleye, catfish, and trout. I'm telling you now you'd better look out. You were safe in the lakes when I was home wishin, but be on your guard cause I'm going fishin".
  6. Looks pretty wicked. I'd say people need to start taking some to the dinner table to thin out the herd. But I don't think I'd eat those!
  7. Been awhile since I've hooked into one. But when I have they tend to feel like your pulling up a log. Normally not much of a fight
  8. It would be interesting. ... But there are times when you might be on the perfect place, bait, structure, ect. And yet the fish just aren't there. Sonar makes it possible to locate the fish. It's all part of the game, if you don't know how to use it and the other guy does than they have a strong advantage on you.
  9. I own two. Both fairly good rods. Very light and pretty sensitive. One is a 7 foot mh, the other is a 7'2 medium parabolic. I bought them when they first came out, so they were the pre e21. Although I ended up breaking the medium powered one. Although it was slammed in a tailgate...by a buddy. However the company was quick to send me a new one with the warranty. Last I heard it was pretty hard to get them to warranty rods anymore?
  10. Oh and Jay gee, you've never been to good ol illernois? You know, the state just bordering Missouri and Indiana?
  11. Some good options there. Still haven't remembered to throw my spoons in my boat for an outing but planning on it in the near future. Got out last weekend and was slaying them on a Bagley shad colored crankbait. First good luck I've had on a crankbait in awhile.
  12. Shad. A huge food resource of well, seems like every fish... We have so many options on what lure to mimic this fish with.... Crank baits, jigs, plastics, spoons, spinner baits....ect... Personally I'm a plastic and jig fishing kind of guy. I throw crank baits every now and than, but with minimal luck... So what type of bait are all of you guys using to play copy cat of this oh so familiar fish?? How many of yall are still using spoons? I'm tempted to just go back to basics and play around with spoons trying for green backed friends.
  13. Back when i first started fishing I had gone to BPS during their spring classic. Figuring any soft plastic was the same, i went ahead and bought bags upon bags of all their house brand baits. Now personally i find myself never using them and have a stockpile of them. Trying to thin them out now that's all i've used and have had some luck, but wondering if its hurting my fishing all that much?? So what luck have you guys had fishing their baits? Have you done anything to help improve them? Should i just set them aside and fish my other baits?
  14. Every freaking time. Pulled into the parking lot for work at 6 am this week blaring the song singing. I got quite a few looks from all the trades outside getting ready for work....lol
  15. Howdy yall! Not necessarially a new member here, but a returning one. Visited these forums for about 2 years, got busy with work and other stuff and ended up pretty much taking a break from fishing for a year to year and a half and quit visiting here. Finished restoring my boat over the winter and been fishing like its going out of style since the beggining of the season. Biggest bass so far has only been a 4lb'r caught on a t-rig powerbait 7in worm. I target everything, But will hit up bass mostly, and catfishing at night. (guys gotta eat!) Currently 21 and in my 2nd year of my apprenticeship for electrician. Hope to meet some new faces and see some old ones! Names Zak by the way! Heres a photo of a pretty nice crappie i got ahold of earlier this year.
