Bass pro spring classic sale
I'm pretty sure the classic sale is always in March? Tried looking for the ads with no luck. Anybody have them or know when they'll come out? Wanting to get a garmin livescope set up and wondering if it would be worth waiting until the classic if they had a deal on them. Thanks!

Went whiskey shopping...
The double oak is excellent. Ardbeg is a great starting point for beginners of scotch. Nice peat, light smoke.

After playing around in the mud all day, figured a glass was in order. Time to grill some chops and enjoy the good weather!

That redbreast is a gorgeous pour. Top 5 Irish I've had. Visited a bourbon drop at the local grocery today. Was able to snag some great bottles. Having a glass of weller now.

Where are all the Illinois Guys ?
Negative! I'm central Illinois. I try not to go north, unless I'm heading to WI.

Where are all the Illinois Guys ?
I've got another out there on the 26th. I've got a few people letting me know the status of the plant. I'll let you know.

Where are all the Illinois Guys ?
Had my tournament on Newton Sunday. Lake fished awfully tough. Plant has been down for two weeks broken, so entire lake was sitting at 48-49. Caught 6 fish all day, two that were 17 ³/⁴", and one that just barley hit 18. Thankfully that one fish was good enough to get me 4th place. Only one boat was able to get their limit of 3, good for 13.xxlbs

What are you guys using to dye your plastisol for soft baits. Specifically interested in a solid white. And chartreuse. Thanks

09 250 pro xs water pump
In the next month or so I'm looking to replace the water pump. Haven't replaced since I've owned (4 years), so figured it's due. One question on it, it shouldn't matter what gear I have it in as I drop the lower unit correct? Also, I drained the lower unit prior to winter moving in and noticed a small amount of water had gotten in. So I figured now would be good time to replace any seals. I plan on changing the carrier assembly seal (39), is there any other major ones I should look at doing? Thanks for any help!

Berkley pit boss
This was a perfect excuse for me to pick up a mold for this bait. Time to try my hand in pouring baits. If only work would slow down for a minute to let me do it! @Bluebasser86 I'll give you $5 and some stale twizzlers for lot. Those are old baits and will probably just fall apart on you if you use them.

Berkley pit boss
@Kyle S yeah , the havoc pit boss is what I was speaking of. I checked several Wal marts as well. I didn't even realize they made the powerbait version. Appears they made slight changes and doubled the price.

Berkley pit boss
I appreciate that Mike! I'll probably end up making an online order, I have some other things I need to stock up on as well. Just seemed odd nobody locally was stocking them anymore. Glad to hear they're still out there. A favorite flipping bait of mine, and just happened to run out before my last few tournaments of the year.

Berkley pit boss
Old inventory? All 5 locations I looked at used to carry them, and I was paying 2.25 - 3$ a bag.

Berkley pit boss
Did they quit making these baits? End of tournament season I visited 5 different locations trying to find some.

What technique should be your best rod
Don't get me wrong, i totally agree with that if you have a technique you tend to spend the most time with, make sure that rig is exactly the way you want it. But yes i believe you need to have a good outfit for bottom contact baits in order to really get the most out of them. Yes, and cheaper/expensive is subjective to everyones own budget, but i have used 200-300 dollar models that i use for bottom contact baits also for moving baits and didnt see enough difference to justify the price.
