Swim Jig/ Skipping Jig
A good skipping combo for me has been the Omega Pitchin Jig or their Structure Jig because they have a flat bottom which causes the jig to stand up and consequently skip very well. For a trailer, I highly recommend the Netbait Kickin' B. This has been great for me on swim jigs. Lots of action in the legs and has a flat, wide body to aid in skipping.

Fitzgerald Flipping Stick?
I have that exact rod and it is great. It is very sensitive and for punching mats it could not be better. Tons of power. One piece of advice would be to put a little heavier reel on it to make the rod balance out a little better. If you are flipping nasty stuff down in Florida this is the perfect rod.

Frogging Rodd For Around $200
If you can afford to pay an extra 50 i would highly recommend a Dobyn's Champion 736C. It is the best frog rod I have ever used.

Caught Between Dobyns, Powell, & St. Croix
I would also definitely go with the champion. Dobyn's rods just have such a great feel to them and their customer support is second to none.

Jig Rod That Doubles As A Frog Rod?
Just got one a few weeks ago and it is such an awesome rod. I put a new *** *** on it and I could not be happier.

Jig Rod That Doubles As A Frog Rod?
Dobyn's 735c or 736c

Which Dobyns Model?
I think it is mostly personal, but that being said I like the full cork grip. But for rods under 7'3 in the champ series only split grips are available. I have the champ 704 which I use for skipping docks and it is still very comfortable.

Which Dobyns Model?
I agree with what everyone has said before. The 734 and 735 are both very versatile rods. In your case I would think that the 734 is the way to go based on what you will be fishing in. It is basically a MH rod by most manufacturer's standards but has plenty of power.

Prespawn Advice For Pickwick
I am only able to fish on the weekends because of work so any advice is helpful. I am anxious to get down to Pickwick for some pre-spawn action, which is really in full swing now. I would appreciate any advice for the TN, MS (lower end) of Pickwick for largies.

Silicon Or Rubber Skirted Jigs For Cold Water
Im a big fan of using rubber mop jigs when the water is still cold. The round rubber will flare out and breath more than silicon when you are slowly dragging a jig.

Flipping Soft Plastics
I use a Trokar 4/0 or 5/0 flipping hook snelled with a missle baits d bomb, zoom ultra speed craw, or havoc pit boss

Siebert Jigs!!
Mike's jigs are absolutely first class. His attention to detail is something you just do not find with the big companies. I have ordered many of his jigs and love them. He did a special order for me of all rubber jigs that are awesome in the cold water. Hopefully they will stick something tomorrow at Pickwick!
