Storing hooks- solution needed
I have a Falcon terminal tackle box that is tight fitting and has four latches. works great, I've never had my hooks jump compartments. I've had it for years and mostly fish from the bank, lots of hiking and running with the box in my backpack hasn't made the hooks mix up. This is the same box right here, mine is just Falcon branded: https://www.amazon.com/Plano-Hook-Sinker-Organizer-Large/dp/B001O9BV5E/ref=asc_df_B001O9BV5E/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=312139903133&hvpos=1o2&hvnetw=g&hvrand=15101137929943590531&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=m&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9012166&hvtargid=aud-658219920192:pla-521829835646&psc=1

All Around Fishing Line
I too have been having a line dilemma as of late. Yo-zuri hybrid is a great multipurpose line (I like the ultra soft), you might also like trilene sensation, I have found the two to be pretty similar in performance. Sufix Advance is a newer line I've really been enjoying, too. Lately though, I have been wanting to go to a braid and leader system for most of my setups.

I just thought of something, you might also look into the fish Orlando project, might give you some good starting points

New to Central Florida
Welcome, I'm up to fish whenever I can. Lake Kissimmee and hatch are great lakes, but I'm not very familiar with them.

Wish you would have joined us, we needed a boat. The cast netters have been at it again, didn't get a single bite from the shore, in the 4 hours we were out.

Any day fishing is better than a day at work. Sounds like you had a good time. Well at least I passed FTO. I'm going to head to saddle Creek in the morning with my dad, you're welcome to join.

? Aren't they already NRT if they aren't doing anything constantly, lol. Well cool, we'll definitely have to go fish. I don't have a boat, too much money right now.

Depends on what your A platoon is. Lol. We have 5 districts and 4 platoons per district. I'm on Charlie platoon I work 1800 to 0600. I would be working tonight and off tomorrow through Sunday, but I'm in FTO school, and tomorrow is the last day. In short we have alternating weeks, one with Wednesday and Thursday off and one where I only work Wednesday and Thursday. So if you're on schedule with me, we can absolutely go, otherwise it'll take a bit of advanced scheduling.

High End Rods
Generally you get the warranty that comes with the blanks the builder uses. So if they use a St Croix blank, for example, then you get the warranty that St Croix has on that particular blank. A lot of times a builder will stand by their products and will most likely send a warranty certificate or take care of the product for you.

St croix mojo bass vs. powell endurance
You're going to have a little bit more reach with the 7'6" , I don't see there being a huge difference though with those 2" as far as power. Someone with more "flippin" experience will probably have a better answer though.

New reels, time to pick rod(s)
I think you may like the Kistler H3 in MH, great customer service, built in Texas, and uses a North fork composites blank. That rod is a step up from my KLX that I have yet to actually fish, but from looks and build quality alone I'm impressed.
