Regular price at my Wal-mart was $40. I have been scoring some pretty good deals at Wal-mart lately in the way of fishing stuff.

Fly Fishing Kits?
Unfortunately, I don't have just a Fly shop anywhere close to me (at least not that I know of). The closest thing to that is Cabelas. I'm only looking to spend about $40, because im not sure if I will even like fly fishing.

Fly Fishing Kits?
I saw a decent looking Fly fishing kit at Wal-mart today for $40. I have never tried fly fishing, but I want to learn, so does anyone know if thes starter kits are any good for a beginner to learn the basics?

Garage Sale Find: 90's Diawa Regal-S 2505Mt
Well, you paid the right price for it. Sorry to say but it is not the greatest reel. In my experience, Daiwa can make some really great reels, then they also have some pretty horrible ones. The reel you got only has one ball bearing. I dont know how much you know about reels, but typically, the more ball bearings the better. but in some cases if a reel only has, say, 4 ball bearings, it may still be an amazing reel. just depends on the build quality. about 6-8 ball bearings has served me great.

A Different Type Of Para Cord Lure
I made these ones for bass and northern pike. I have some made with much smaller hooks for pan fish. I Made them for my pocket pan fishing kit. I haven't fished them yet but I will be tomorrow.

A Different Type Of Para Cord Lure
I was making some para cord lures today, and I made a few of the traditional ones (Left), and then I made some of my own(Right). I don't know if i exactly invented it, but I kind of made it my own.
