quan - you ever had any luck launching out of Bull Run? Any suggestions on places to check out tomorrow morning? I think I may turn right out of the marina and check out some coves and points upstream. DJ I also plan on heading out early tomorrow morning but I'll be launching out of Bull Run. Interested to hear how you do (good luck!). I also just got a topo map but this is only my second time out there so definitely still trying to learn as much as possible...

Fellow NoVA angler here and wanted to say hello. Fished Occ. Res. last Saturday when it was flooded and muddy. Threw a spinnerbait most of the morning and switched to a worm later on. Didn't get a single bite which was slightly discouraging. Anybody else out there catch anything? I'm thinking about heading back out on Saturday launching out of Bull Run.
