Heck, I stopped using Tatsu because I felt I got everything I was looking for in CXX (albeit in smaller diameters) and the last time I bought both, Tatsu was around $40/150m and CXX was $5/300m that's less than 1/10th the price. Also CCX has even less stretch so it's almost like fishing a clear braid or something... To each his own, but shame on the tackle store employee speaking ill of the godfather of fishing line! It's still the cheapest and most effective way to attach bait to spool. While I don't use it for everything, it will ALWAYS have a place in my arsenal.

Well I'm just saying any walking-type frog with the pointy face. Most brand name frogs offer both types. Popping-type frogs have the big open cup face and they make a lot of noise. When it's quiet I like to be on the quiet side while still making some disturbance wiggling them through the weeds.

Topwater. When it's really warm, light is low and things are calm, a non-popping frog is usually my go-to.

Oh! Also if you put your seating in the middle of the boat it cuts down on the tippyness in a big way. I know people like to keep the seats for support, but if you can find a shop to weld in your floor joists it greatly increases the support given to the hull. Doubly once you put in that two part closed cell foam. Just my .02 even if you do get a bigger tin boat.

Depends on the build. I'm an aluminum fab guy and build all my floor joists out of 1x1 aluminum, used thinner plywood for the floor and 2-part foamed underneath which made it very stiff & secure. It is still very light and I use it with a friend regularly, but if it was made from wood it would be about 150lbs heavier, easy. If you're stuck on a 12er, go aluminum and it will save you a LOT of weight.

This is the funniest thing I've ever seen unfurl. If you want to blame Tom Brady for the laws of physics and thermodynamics, you're essentially blaming him for being God and essentially creating nature and all the natural laws inherently contained within it. Trick darter flap slap diving flap slap wind killer bill

Picked up a Megabass S-Crank in GG Bass. Also an Imakatsu Flappin' Sonic and an Imakatsu Wind Killer Bill in pearl white. I guess the the surprising news is that I've been awake for over an hour and haven't bought a trick darter yet.

There are many good frogs on the market as mentioned above, but in my personal experience there are also GREAT frogs. Those frogs are kicker frogs. Soft body, single hook- highest hookup ratio I've ever experienced. I rarely miss one on the kickers. I can't even believe I told you guys about them, they've been sort of my little secret for a while now.
