Michigan Might Join The Majority
I could see that affecting those seasons or closed seasons that is especially Pike who you can't not catch this time of year. I think I'm in the majority here and the closed season doesn't bother me. We normally have ice through about mod March or further, and its cold and windy, waiting until 4-26 isn't that long of a wait at least for me.

Cant Get The Livewell Pump Out
I am trying to replace my livewell pump with a new one. It is an old Atwood 500, not the tsunami kind. I think it may have that 5200 sealant. How do I get this thing out? I've really wrenched on the not outside and can't get it to budge.

Is The Duckett Ghost Worth The Money?
Do you think that's covered in their warranty? Do you think braids like smack down which are supposed to not make that "noise" through guides would make then last longer?

Curado
He probably bought a G. I don't believe that the lefties are out yet. Also, if you normally use a right handed reel and go to a left handed, you won't crank in a s smoothly. That is also why on a right handed spinning reel you reel with your left and a right handed bait casting reel you feel with your right. A spinning reel has a wider circle Queen you turn the handle while a bait caster is tighter. Picture trying to draw a small circle as fast as you can with your dominant right hand. Then try and do it with your left. Which is smoother and more natural? Which circles actually look like circles?

Real Magic
Never used it or any line conditioner for that matter. This year I will be using KVD's though. Everything I've read on here, the concerns us is that KVD's is hands down the best compared to any lone conditioner and its not really even close.

Getting Into Tourneys
Kind of tough to take your boat anywhere if you're only 14 lol. I didn't even have money to buy a piece of pizza without asking my parents when I was 14.

Hammer Rods
I had never heard of the brand so I did look on their website and I would have to agree with you, not that I've physically seen them, but their ratings are pretty light for a MH rod.

Evolve Soul 5
Has anyone ever used any of their hardbaits? I see that they have a pretty nice priced new deep diving crankbaits that dive to 20 feet. The colors look pretty great (just from viewing on the tw website. Was wondering I anyone has used these baits and what they thought? Also, I saw they have a frog priced right and seemed to have great colors. Even has needs in them for noise.

Frog Colors
Does the color matter as much when you're fishing over pads or thick mats? Or is the lighter colors in bright light darker in dark light apply to more open water situations

Bass Guys In The North Use Lighter Tackle. "yankee Sticks"?
I always get a kick out of people with a spinning reel wrong side up.

Bass Guys In The North Use Lighter Tackle. "yankee Sticks"?
I will say you aren't a complete fisherman unless you can use both. I always think of a guy like Chris Lane. I really think he has 0 chance of winning on more finesse type lakes. I also think it was a lot of luck and that he just happened to find a school on lake st clair last year. I believe he literally learned how to drop shot that week.I think a guy like ish Monroe can be put in the same category. But at the same time these guys would be hard to beat in say, California.

Bass Guys In The North Use Lighter Tackle. "yankee Sticks"?
Really it just depends how you like to fish. Up north the fish are smaller. I live in Michigan and people love floating down the grand river and fish smallmouth. I can catch about 15 an hour. I just throw a small bandit footloose and the get hammered and I throe it on a spinning rod because I get more distance and can cover the whole river floating down the middle. 95% of people I see on lakes or rivers here throw something like a beetle spin, all on spinning gear. I only use my baitcasters for crankbaits and to fish a frog or pitch into heavy stuff. O could easily get away with never using anything more than 8 pound test and a spinning reel because there just isn't a lot of thick cover on lakes around here. I don't think I have a single friend who has more than $50 into any of their spinning combos whereas I'm using $300-$400 bait casting setups. To each their own.

Question On Boat Wiring
My boat is a 1996 stratos and it does have like a plastic tubing that the wires run throught at least from the back to the console. I'm not exactly very handy....but the fish tape wire will be able to be thread through that and to pull wire through? Thanks for the previous reply.

Question On Boat Wiring
I had bought by first bass boat last year and bought it knowing that the livewells did not work. How do you wire the wire underneath the floor? I can install new livewell pumps and can wire it up, but I just don't get how people get the wire from the back to the middle to the front under the floor.
