First Time Using A Curado
Yeah, they are great reels. Not knocking your reel or anything, but just think, those are the reels out of the curado line people didn't like and its still a really nice reel.

Johnny Rat Wakebait
Omg! Just saw this at TW. There is really no point to this post other than it costs $134.99!!!!!

Tackle Warehouse Does It Again
They normally say when stuff is on backorder and they don't charge you until they ship.

Bassresource App???
I've searched on here to see if it has been discussed, but has there ever been any discussion about there being a bass resource app? I didn't know where this would best be boosted either.

Next Tw Sale?
In your opinion, is the 15% off sale or hr memorial day sale better?

Rod Help
Do you disagree with the fanfare part? I just feel that because come stoically, the reels are very "bland" that not a lot of people talk about them or show an interest in them.
-
Rod Help
Kistlers are great rods with a great reputation but little fanfare.

Convince Me To Use Flouro?
No offense but to give up on using fluro because it is getting "stuck" through the guides and to not think that it is something you're doing wrong wouldnt be smart. You're clearly tying the knot wrong. I don't get how you don't realize its user error on the knot and try it again? If people out there use the same knots to tie on their leaders and never have this problem its obviously something on your end.

Wigglefin Action Disk?
Same concept as a scrounger head

Favorite Bait Scent
I've never used any scents....kind of a dumb question but are you suing them more on hardbaits or plastics?
-
Livingston Lures...
The thing I wonder is he could have thrown almost any color/brand crankbait that day it was just a perfect spot/timing.
-
Livingston Lures...
I believe they are water activated. Turn on in the water and go off out of the water.

Hookups With Floating Frog?
I didn't read every reply here but I didn't see it mentioned that you can also follow it up with a punching type bait if you're fishing heavy cover right where the bass missed the frog and normally get your good hard strike instantly.

Arashi Sale
Well I was wrong, my apologies. I do find it odd that they don't well them though or list them on Storm's website.
-
Arashi Sale
They are squarebills but flat sided ones. They don't have a normal rattling squarebill in their arashi line only the flat ones.

Arashi Sale
I believe the rattling ones are flat sided?

Arashi Sale
I don't know how long this has been going on and I didn't see it posted but thought some people would like to know that gander mountain has a buy 2 get 1 free sale on the Storm Aras hi crankbaits (at least the one by me does). Pretty sweet deal on them...

Suffix 832, Superslick 8 , Samurai Or Sunline?
I would doubt that most people have tried them all. You can't find Sunline and Samauri as readily in stores, plus they are more expensive. I tend to only put any weight into advice if someone has tried them all.

Thornapple River, Michigan
Seriously? You're complaining it was too rocky? Learn how to use a squarebill.

Insert Less Guides
Their rods are supposed to have a 20 year warranty and if you use the warrant in the first year you can just exchange it at a store. Would this be covered under their warranty because what everyone is saying is that the guys will wear out fairly quickly.

Knots For Crank Baits
I always use a uni knot. I have never had a break off at the knot and I've never had it slip. I double it up as well.

Ice Fishing?
No offense but to rent a "hut" on Lake Simcoe and catch small perch is not exactly a good thing on Lake Simcoe since people go there to get jumbo perch. I would be disappointed with small perch and if you're paying to go to a hut that doesn't move at all during the winter, what a waste because you have to move to find the perch. The schools move and you have to move with them. As to the original poster, some others have already said it, but a flasher is the single most important thing when ice fishing. I've ice fished 55 hours in the month of January here in Michigan. I would not even go if I didn't have a flasher or if my battery were to die on the ice, I would just go home. It seems like a waste of time fishing without one if you ever fish with one. The key to ice fishing is being mobile and it is easiest to be mobile with a gas auger. I personally would buy an ice gator though... You don't go fishing in the summer nad just stop the boat somewhere and drop you line straight down and never move all day. If you have a flasher you simply drop the transducer down there, if nothing is there either move right away or you drop a line down real quick and if nothing comes off the bottom, move to a new hole. Move, move, move, and move. Shanty and heater are actually pretty overrated. If you want to catch fish, you constantly move. I hardly ever set up my shanty when i go although I bring it every time.
