I'm returning a champ 701sf and if I got into the 73's it's extra. The 70's are straight across. I will pay extra if it's that much better.

i have the choice of 2 brand new dobyns. I have the choice between a dobyns 703 and a dobyns 704 for texas rigs. i use 1/4 - 3/8 oz t rigs with mostly craws and 7' worms what would be better? both champion series. thanks

St. Croix Avid
I would like to pic up a St. Croix avid but the cork in front of the reel seat is so "Bulky" is there anyway to shave it down and it not being rough?

Powell 725 Duckett 7'6 XH Dobyns 735 or 736 like you said St. Croix LTB 7'3 XH (30$ more than you want) i use a duckett 7' H and it works good, but i dont fish really heavy pads.

all my rods are cork! Haha, Might have an old ugly stick in the garage lol. The cumaras have like no EVA, why did they do that? Hopefully they change it.

Also, if you dont like they shape of the cork you can sand it to your desirable shape. Not with EVA.
