You could give cal's a try. I've never had problems using it on drags and gears. I use reelx on bearings.

I've got the 7x Hdi and find it to be a great finder. Really wish I would have picked up the gps version though. I am actually looking at picking up a 4 with gps and move the 7 to the bow. I run slit screen with downscan on one and 2d on the other. You won't be disappointed!

It's still top 25 of day 3 right? If so I still have Tharp, Walker, and Lee still going. I'm very surprised that kvd did not make or to day 3. I made a last minute sswitch from Martens to go there. Regretting that move now. I also switched off Carden last minute. Should have kept with my gut there too!

Yes! I made the mistake of getting the x and I'm kicking myself for it. The X can't store waypoints, and you can't load maps or updates.
