i'm new to bass fishing .. so take this for what its worth.. i tried as a recommendation from the owner at the tackle shop, its what she fishes.. it was ok.. but i keep trying & i have yet to find anything! my buddy that is teaching me says basic triline.. i have had nothinig but problems out of the last 3 spools.. i finally got a good spool and have had little problems. sometimes i thnk its just todays makert & poor qualitiy control. i have not figured it out.... 832 seemed stiff to me, but it was strong stuff!

man i am new to bass fishing ( started about 3 mo ago).... been a trout guy my hole life. Grew up on the white river here in norther ar. This bass thing is a hole different game! lol i been reading in the back ground here for a long time, & watching glenns video's even b4, thats how i found this place.... hey you tube is good for something after all! ha ha j/k .. i live in a awesome place, one i would not trade for anything! Watching fishing shows sure dont help much here, our lake is 661 + feet deep, mostly rock & brush piles & buck brush & super clear water.... no drak stained water hardly unless a rain, & ha rd one, & then u gotta hit deep coves... no grass that i have found, no lillies... man i if can master this lake all others are gonna be ez! lol anyway, i have spoken with a few & seems as of lately fishing is tough all over.... fish not bitting , or short striking , just wont commit to the baits.... if anyone is in this area and having any luck & feels inclined to help me out i would love to hear from u ! Glenn gave me some ideas to try & i am very greatful ! going out sat night and plan to use this info then! hope to hear & maybe even meet some of you , thanks ahead of time.. james

i am with you i start about 3 mo back & it has been a rough time to start!!! I have a guy helping to teach me he has 30 years of bass fishing our area & he is having a hard time also so i know its not just me... lol i'm with ike... never give up.... fall is close, just remember no where to go but up from hard times! lol thats a good one! i've caught 3 so far & nothing that size yet! Congrat's.. i cant wait i'll probably fall out of the boat when i cathc one again!
