  1. There ya go brother. Let us know how it comes out.
  2. C'mon cat! You know better than that. Take it all back apart, go spend the whole $14 on new inner and outer bearing and race sets with a new seal and do it right the first time. sanded the race.... Of course I'm just bustin your chops but seriously go get all new bearing sets and a seal and you should be good to go.
  3. Love the smiles! And the red, white and blue nail polish.
  4. ^^^This. Great guy and company. Just the 4th of delay.
  5. I'm going tree fiddy on this one
  6. For bass=green pumpkin TRD Ned rig. For everything=inline spinner.
  7. Dang! Talk about being in the zone. What a great day. And for those that don't understand a frog hookset, this is a great example (except one lol) of the bite, pause and set. Every one was textbook. Shane, I'm comin down!
  8. I have 15,000 sq ft of grass and I typically push it because it leaves better lines (my lawn is another of my hobbies). If I miss a mow and it becomes too long to push, I have a rider but I really don't like to use it. I do use it in the fall for a last, short mow and to bag the leaves though. When I push, I'm usually out there 1.5-2 hrs which includes trimming the rock walls, driveway etc... Although since my elbow surgery my boys have been doing it so I don't really care how long it takes...
  9. I have been wanting to make one of these for a while now and you just lit the fire. Would it be a bad thing to lay it down though? I was thinking of a slightly longer version of what you have but leave one side empty. Then put some concrete in the middle of the tube and sink it so it lays down lengthwise. It would be shallower but cover more bottom. I want one off my favorite point in about 25 fow.
  10. Wanting to do and actually doing are 2 different things. Just ignore him; all he's trying to do is get your goat. Take the high road. And if you happen to meet at the ramp, well..... On another note; you used to be able to download that pic and the one on the first page from BassMaster website as a desktop background. I can't find where you can anymore. Anyone know if we still can?
  11. I've never understood why it's so hard for people to just put the bait back in the package. I keep each and every soft plastic in their original package until they are gone.
  12. Without seeing and inspecting the reel, I would say spool tension is too tight.
  13. Thats because the watermelon dinger has seeds in it....
  14. I suppose it's close. I just have more confidence in the worm t-rigged. I feel it comes through grass better and I also swim it sometimes and I like it t-rigged for that too. EDIT: ^^^Wizard. Raul, you beat me to it!

Dang dude! Those are beautiful! I've used bucktails for stripers but I've been wanting to try some for bass too. If you need someone to test those in Maine waters, just let me know!
  16. My go to pattern in the summer is a t-rigged worm with pegged weight in 6-12 ft grass flats. I feel I can always catch bass in those situations.
  17. I helped coach my oldest boy all through Cal Ripken and Babe Ruth ball. Then came HS ball and now he enters college this fall and hopefully will play ball for Thomas College. Sure it cut into fishing time but I wouldn't change a thing. Baseball has helped him in many many ways to become more confident and will be a background focus in college. Nothing, and I mean nothing will keep me away from that field for his first college game. I've always been there for him and always will.
  18. Well tell us some of your new ones and we'll fill you in on the rest.
  19. Most home invasion shots are within 10 yds. Put up a piece of 3/4 plywood, shoot it with #6 12ga and look at the hole. The intruder wouldn't be mad long.
  20. Not to hijack but how bout a spike-it marker? I was going to order a spike-it marker to touch some orange on my GP TRD's. Will they play well together or do I have to put them in separate corners?
  21. I love catching a new species to me; nice job.
