Zoom Mag Fluke Substitute?
I didn't mean to make it sound like Zoom costs too much, just looking for another option. Lotsa guys use the generic "senko" style stickbaits that you can buy in bags of 100 that cost a fraction of GY Senkos, and work exactly the same. Just looking for that option I guess.

Zoom Mag Fluke Substitute?
So I had a good Magnum Fluke bite yesterday and used up my last couple of packs. Does anyone know of a good substitute that may be a little cheaper than the Zoom?

Jokes - Let's Have Some Fun
I went to the pub last night and saw a fat chick dancing on a table. I said, "Nice legs." The girl giggled and said, "Do you really think so." I said, "Definitely! Most tables would have collapsed by now."

Jokes - Let's Have Some Fun
For my 400th post:: I was talking to a girl in the bar last night. She said, "If you lost a few pounds, had a shave and got your hair cut, you'd look all right." I said, "If I did that, I'd be talking to your friends over there instead of you." *********** Edited by Moderator

Can't say that enough. Tourneys are exciting but try not to let it rattle ya. Just go out there and fish how you normally would.

Does Using Vaseline Or Corrosion Preventive Spray Work On Batteries Terminals?
I think the red sprays work well. The big thing you must remember is: I have seen people put vaseline/chemicals on the terminals before assembling. Big no-no. You want a good, clean, bare lead to lead connection. So, clean both the battery terminal and cable end well, assemble dry and clean, then put whatever chemical you want over the terminal/cable end.

Slow To Fast? Or Fast To Slow?
I always start out a new spot with a faster moving bait to cover water but mostly to see if there are actively feeding fish. If so, I'll catch as many of the active ones as I can, then when the bite slows or stops I'll switch to a worm or jig and pick off a few more. I get confused when I hear people say that when they catch a fish on a crank, searching, that they go to a worm or jig???? Why wouldn't you continue using that bait that caught the fish in the first place until it no longer works in that area; then go a more finesse tactic.

Sunscreen And Bass Fishing
I'm wicked paranoid about scents and smells on my baits when using soft plastics. I'm very fussy about how they are rigged as well (straight on hook etc..) but thats another talkshow. I'll give you all one of my very best tips about smells on your hands. I keep a ziplock sammich bag with baking soda in it on the boat at all times. Every trip, after launching and after getting my rods from the locker, but before touching any baits, I dip my hands in the lake, dip them in the baking soda, then scrub them out over the water then rinse in the lake. Call it a superstition, whatever.. it makes me confident that I'm as scent free as possible. I also repeat this after applying sunscreen too. Then the Megastrike comes out...
