Hi, I'm a Morristown native myself, now living in SD. Sometimes wish I'd never left. Sounds like you got some good jigs going there and the TN rivers are full of good Smallmouth. Up here we're all about Walleye, Trout, Pike, etc. Although, I do still make a lot of In Line Spinners in the old Snagless Sally style. Don't know why you left Oregon (I caught some dang good salmon on the Columbia and Willamette), anyway enjoy TN and good fishing. Keep It Reel!!!!

Been a while since I've been there (Grew up on Cherokee). I would say you pretty much can't go wrong. Something is always biting if you aren't super particular. Bass,Stripers, Crappie, Catfish etc. Just a heck of a fun lake to fish.
