Was This Wrong?
Trout fishing with a friend using bobbers and live bait. I accidentally crossed his line when he wasnt looking. i was kinda embarrassed to tell him so i gave the line a twitch...his bobber went under...but no fish. again once more but still nothing. Finally the third time he set so hard that the top half of his rod came off and slid down the line.

Black Neon
I have done well with a black senko in dirty water.

Need A New Mono
Check out the Sunline site. They have many different options for all sorts of situations. Of course they do come with a price tag :/ P-line C-21 is good.

Jerkbaits For Trout
If there are not many bait fish then likely the trout are small. Try small and medium sized Rapala Countdowns, Husky Jerks, and Originals; depending on fish location and water depth.

Lake Fork Creature
I love to use them as a jig trailer, and a pegged sinker is essential in heavy cover.

Blade Baits
I like a strike king Rage Blade. It works great in fall, especially in wind and dirty water. Also good because you can fish it like a squarebill crankbait but in heavier cover and it provides an alternative look. In stained water I like a crawfish trailer like a Strike King Rage Tail Craw.

Skirt Thickness???
I would say in dirty water go with a thicker skirt; slower fall and more vibration. It will help the bass to find you lure.

Favorite Bluegill Imitator?
I'm not going to name brands, all I know is that a bluegill colored square-bill imitates a frantic bluegill perfectly.

What Are Your Favorite Tubes?
Green Pumpkin yamamoto tube. The 4 inch version is the best there is for flipping and pitching. I go down to a 3 inch trigger-x for smallmouth.

"finesse" Fishing Stained Water
Vibration is key too, sometimes a little extra helps the fish find your lure. Try exchanging you plastic worm for a lizard, craw-worm, or small swimbait.
