  1. Roboworms are the way to go. With spot recover head
  2. All I use is Texas rig and soft plastics. I have the 6'10 mh tatula with a revo stx. Started off using 30lb suffix 832 high vis yellow. Worked excellent throwing wise but I feel the fish could see it. Then switched recently to 15lb seaguar invizx because of all the reviews. Needless to say I've used the line twice and horrible memory and casting and I'm already switching back to braid. Trying a different color though
  3. Looking through the bps catalog, Does it actually matter what designs are on your top water lure is? Whether it be a popper or a kvd sexy frog, the fish is only going to see the bottom, correct? So why all the fancy designs?
  4. Never caught a fish on a jig. I've tried them plenty of times just lost all hope. Same with spinner baits
  5. Think it hit 87 today in tampa:) fish are still kind of slow
  6. Zoom super fluke- watermelon seed/red flake Zoom speed tail- junebug/ or watermelon seed GY senko- junebug
  7. My favorite top water also. I've only used the watermelon seed because there no need try a different color. ^^^ very true also. You've got to let him take it for a couple of seconds
  8. Full moon soon also. Went out this morning only catching one. Pretty slow, heading out later this evening with hopefully more luck
  9. http://m.academy.com/shop/pdp/h2o-xpress-153-tackle-pack/pid-783640?deviceType=true I bought this 2 weeks ago and I do a lot of pond jumping so the pole holders come in handy
  10. Actually bought my first bait caster yesterday. I seem to cast my spinning rod more accurately and farther. Like other people mentioned, I guess it just takes time
  11. Very good point also because my other reel was a 5:2:1 compared to my new 7:1:1. Probably has a lot to do with it then because like you said I'm use to the rate of my previous reel. I've got to slow waaay down
  12. I bought the new revo stx paired with a tatula mh 6'10 rod. I thought about the whole sharpie thing. Probably what I'll try next so I don't waste $24 and throw that crap away
