Caught these two last week, the first was 5.86 on a red Santone Chatterbait. The second went 4.18 on the Black Dog ShellCracker G2, nothing doing when I was steadily retrieving it so I started twitching it and letting it float up for 1-2 seconds. On the second cast when I started doing that the fish swiped at it and missed it so I jerked the rod and he hit it again.

Touché kind sir. I'll have one tied on next outing and throw it at some stumps. Building confidence in a bait has been one of the toughest things for me in the realm of bass fishing. You know X lure works but don't commit to throwing X lure for a long duration. Although I've been taking certain baits out and only throwing those for an outing. Sorry to the OP for any thread jacking I might be doing. Lol

Santone Chatterbaits are amazing and Yellow Magic poppers, of course the pink jig is for the fiancée, "it's pretty" lol

Oh I know, I'll probably try in the summer when the bass go deep again, if I know I'm gonna be working shallow water I want to throw everything else besides jigs lol.

I played the first one until the disc burnt then I got the second one lol.

I have a bunch of em and I've yet to catch a fish on them but I just enjoy lookin at them they're so pretty lol. In all honesty I just haven't committed to throwing one.

Caught some dinks on Monday using a Yo Zuri 3DB series Vibe in Prism Crawfish. They are actually quite a bit darker than the image of it on TW.

I will not be one of those people that will pay double the original cost because i am impatient lol. I can wait.....
