I've gotten some great deals on lures. I usually will check Walmart first for gear then head to the sporting good stores.

I started when I was 12, so now it's been 38 years off & on. My folks weren't really into fishing, so I learned how through the Boy Scouts and friends. My grandfather liked to fish so when he retired I would hang out with him fishing for bluegills and crappies. Most of my adult life I spent in Wyoming & Montana fishing for trout. Now I'm in Alabama taking up bass fishing and am learning to baitcast. I taught my son at about 10, he is now 23 and has a little more experience on bass than me. I love getting outdoors spending time with my kids just chillin.

Viewing all these cool.pics made me head and get a new setup. Gander Mtn has a pretty good sale going on. Picked up an Abu Garcia Revo SX and 7' MH Veritas rod to add to my beginners collection. Just now getting into bass fishing, spent most of my time trout, walleye and northern fishing. Took it out in the backyard to practice and I'm still amazed at the distances I was achieving can't. Wait to get it on the lake. I'll try to post a smaller size pic once I figure it out.
