Senkos and gold rattlers have always been staples for me as well. Spooks have also been pretty reliable.

This is the case in the MIlwaukee area too. People aren't really willing to share info for some reason. Could be tournament related reasons.

I just picked up the Plano 3707. I'm hoping i like it.

The rig I use for buzzbait setups (50# braid) is the same one I use for frogs, and spooks and stuff. Then the rig I use for crankbaits (17# flouro) gets used for spinnerbaits as well. I have other panfish and walleye specific rigs too.

Im gonna echo everyone else here as well. I use 50lb Suffix braid for all topwater and haven't been disappointed yet.

I just got into using baitcasters myself and am head over heels in love with them. I picked up an Abu Garcia Revo3 and a Daiwa Exceler as my first reels. They both work very well. I think I'm gonna pick up a Pro Qualifier for a third setup.

I picked up an Exceler from Cabelas too. I had a couple gift cards laying around too so I ended up paying about $14 out of pocket. Couldn't pass that one up.
