  1. Check the mart most of them have their falcon bucoos on sale for $100 down from $130. I have heard of some stores having them as low as $30 but I have only seen them for $79 as the lowest price at the 6 stores I checked. They are super lite rods and I am still on the hunt for a couple if they get down in my price range.
  2. I picked up a couple skeet reese rods for $50ea might scope out a couple others for better deals would really like to pick up a bucoo for anywhere near some of the prices posted on here
  3. Right hander here and ever since my grandfather taught me to fish 25+ years ago we always used left handed baitcasters. Only part that was hard was the reel selection which was always Abu 5501 reels. We fished calico bass mainly with largemouth on occasion and for calicos in the kelp forest we cast thousands of times a day and we would go nuts if we had to switch hands every cast. Plus all my strength and control was better on my right which was needed when a 40# white sea bass would pick up your swimbait rather than a calico. Besides you dont need your stronger hand to turn baitcaster paddle handles. We do go back to right handed reels when fishing 40# class line and up to 130#. If you can fish your spinner left handed there's not much of a difference plus there are so many nice offerings in lefty reels now is the time to make the change if you have been sitting on the fence jump in with the rest in the know right handed left reeled fisherman
  4. Just picked up a pair of skeet rods from the local blue big box store for $50 ea. One spinning and other is a 7' MF trigger stick. I am just getting back into serious bass fishing always fish 20+ days a year but focus has been saltwater and ponds so my serious bass rigs were lacking in sensitivity. Rods felt great in the store and matched up with my reels nicely so I just need open water to get a feel for them. Anyone with a season or 2 on them care to share any thoughts I would appreciate it. Thanks
  5. As a good friend of Mike's I can say he works very hard at making these top quality jigs and pours a lot of time and care into each order. He has had to pull a lot of late nights and weekends getting orders together and always with a smile.
