Any tips you can give me on drilling holes for the hangers and belly waits? Mine are coming out alittle off center, even after finding center and using a press. Thank you in advance.

Whittle, You said you use a photo for the bluegill bait. Where or how did get a photo? I don't understand that part.

Outstanding thread! I have not started making baits yet, but have been trying to learn as much as possible and this thread SURE did decrease the learning curve. Thanks to all that have shared their knowledge....I have really enjoyed reading along!

On an earlier post (which I can't find now,) someone asked about sites to find components to make their own spinnerbaits. A few were listed but here's an additional one that I found. I to have been considering making my own. This site has everything needed and to check the price, it comes to about $100 to get everything needed to get started and make a 100 spinnerbaits.
