Could I Get Sponsored?
Well seriously thanks for the advice. And about the whole negative thing I'm probably just too sensitive to negativity from being around it constantly in my personal life. Anyways, thanks for the kick in the butt.

Could I Get Sponsored?
Gardnerjigman you are right about that post saying I was asking, sorry about that. I was specifically referring to the first post that was not a resume by any means. And about the 13 year old pond hoppers just go to youtube they are PLENTIFUL, but let's not argue over this. I don't understand all the negativity though, if I want to work hard to promote a company and what I would be receiving would cost the company little to nothing, what is so bad about that? The "sponsorship" section on br is by far the most negative I have ever seen.

Could I Get Sponsored?
I have spent hours reading all the sponsorship articles multiple times. This wasn't a resume or asking for a sponsor. I have a good idea of how to write a sponsor resume and all that good stuff I was just asking if you guys think it can happen given the limited info I have given. From what I've seen all these young kids getting sponsored that don't even have a boat, don't fish tournaments, only fish in ponds, the only tool they have to promote is their tiny youtube channel. Why would a sponsor choose a 13 year old pond hopper with a very small youtube channel, over somebody like me who fishes competitively with success, and is willing to work hard to promote their company in an effective and mature way?

High School Programs
I know Lew's does, there is an application on their website. If you just google high school fishing sponsors you should get some results. I know a lot of high school kids are sponsored by Duckett rods as well.

Could I Get Sponsored?
And if anybody happens to see this that would like give me a chance at promoting your company for a few baits here and there or something like that, please feel free to message me. I am a very enthusiastic and knowledgable person, especially when it comes to fishing tackle. Thanks, Brett

Could I Get Sponsored?
I guess when I said regionally and locally you didn't realize I meant in tournaments. Lol why would I want sponsors if I wasn't fishing competitively..? I fish club tourneys too but pretty much dominate, and the bigger locals I'm usually in the top 10. So I'm wanting to move up to BFLs and bass opens possibly. Sorry for the confusion.

Could I Get Sponsored?
First off I am 19 years old and thinking about soliciting sponsors. I fish locally and regionally with lots of success locally. I have a large network of fisherman in my area, have 3 different social media pages, know tackle shop owners, etc.. I believe hard work reaps great rewards, so I am not just looking to wear a shirt and get free products. I believe I can be a great promotional asset to a company. I am also not looking for a big deal, maybe just some help on baits and stuff of that sort. Is it possible in my current situation?

Lake Guntersville Geography: Need Some Help
I like putting in in spring creek and going back in the creek and fish topwater frogs or buzzbaits in the grass back there. In my opinion that is the best grass at Guntersville in spring creek. After the topwater bite come out of the creek and fish the bridge and causeway, the bridge right there is where randy Howell won the classic. I like crankin that bridge and.the rocks and then go under the bridge and fish the next one too. And then if that bite isn't working I will try to find a open water grass bed on the edge of the channel and fish the.edge of the grass with jigs or big worms. I'm not an expert but I live like 20 mins from the big G so I have fished it a lot and I consider my home lake even though Henry Neely is closer. Good luck I have no doubt you will come away from.Guntersville in love! Oh and if all else fails just fish grass you can always catch em.out of it.

Shimano Calais?
Primetime that had absolutely nothing to do with this thread?

Shimano Calais?
Oh yeah and the tourney pro is amazing! It's so buttery smooth its almost unbelievable! I see why everybody talks so good about it now. I've had a regular speed spool for a while and I love it but the.tourney pro is just in a different league. Awesome!

Shimano Calais?
Okay guys so I went and looked at everything last night and ended up buying a nice lews tourney pro and a st. Croix legend tournament 7'1 for 200 bucks! I'm pretty sure I scored lol but the calais is a 200a and it was almost new the guy never even uses it I held off on buying it last night because I hate spending that much at one time. But do yall think I should buy it? I can probably get it for 175

Shimano Calais?
I found a shimano calais on Craigslist for 200 bucks is that a good deal? It's high end so I'm guessing its a good reel can anybody tell me about it? He also has a lews tournament pro.for 100 I know that's a good deal so I'm gonna buy the lews at least. Thanks

Better Baitcaster?
I'm either getting a tatula or a chronarch e5 for crankbaits. Which of these two reels are smoother? I'm very picky about my reels being solid and smooth. Also which one is a better overall reel for crankbaits. I'm thinking chronarch because I've seen some bad reviews about the.tatula and not many bad about the chronarch. and the chronarch/curado e is a legendary reel. Thanks Also any other suggestions would be appreciated.

Chronarch 51E, Tatula-R, Bb1 Pro
oh that's my mistake I hadn't researched it much I was thinking that's what the upgrade from the regular was and.I saw the dial on the sideplate. My mistake
-
Need Help Please!
I was fishin last night and threw the side plate off my lews speed spool and its brand new! Does anybody got a sideplate you don't need that you could send me? It would be very much appreciated. It's just the regular speed spool 7.1.1.

Chronarch 51E, Tatula-R, Bb1 Pro
The chronarchs are known to last forever and are tough but I have personal experience with lews and they are amazing reels, the smoothest I've ever felt. The bb1 pro has dual brakes,.centrifugal and magnetic, so for in the wind it would be the best.for that. I would go with the shimano or the lews, you should go somewhere that sells them both and see which one feels the best and get that one, but that's just my opinion.
-
Bass Tackle Depot?
Is bass tackle depot a good trustworthy website to buy from? They have a 25% sell right now I want to buy a lews bb1 they're only 119!! But plz let me know about btd if you know about them.

New Reel, Need Opinions
I have a regular Lew's speed spool and it is the best reel I own and I.have revo's, quantums, pfluegers, and otherr any garcia's. I think they are the absolute best you can get in that price range. So my vote is def Lew's.
