  1. You alright Tim, Hows you fella. Sensitivity compared to what. Ive read on some forums that fishing jigheads with plastic baits on dropshot rods that you cant feel much with regards to feeling the bottom properly and feeling bites so what i mean is would that be the case with this rod considering its fairly top-ish spec rod? Ideally i want to purchase a jig/worm rod for jighead plastics for canal fishing and im very new to the whole lure fishing bit having already acquired a fenwick venture and an abu vertitas, however a good workman uses the best tools he can and even though in just learning the trade as so to speak this rod come up cheap so wondered whether it was worth the purchase but for using jigheads and plastics, do you know what i mean fella? Cheers for your reply anyway aye. Are you american abroad?
  2. You alright fellas, Being in england uk we only have pike, zander(walleye) and perch which ive started lure fishing for and the selection of good quality rods is very small with regards to st croix, g loomis, airrus, dobyns and other quality rods and ive just come across a St croix legend tournament casting dropshot/finesse 6'10" xfast action rod for a resonable price in the uk, so my questions are: 1) Could i use it for jigging for perch or would the rod tip not be right action for the application? 2) Would i lose sensitivity with regards to feeling the jig and detecting bites from predators when jigging with this rod? 3) Would a shimano curado200g6 be a good reel to pair it with for balance and weight? What do you's think? Tight lines and happy hunting fellas, Cheers aye, Elwood
