You alright fellas Just purchased the reel above Incase someone else bought it as it was $421.73 new and 2014 model as opposed to th uk cheapest price of $684.65 of 2013 model . Would it be a good pairing on the g loomis nrx jig and worm 852 or 853 jwr I'm planning on getting? The person I bought it from only had 2 . If I have just bought 1 that means there is one more left so is it worth me buying the other one if he's still got it in the morning? Tip heavy? I thought the same with my st croix ltb but once I put my new daiwa tatsu type r on it, it felt good fella . Can you put your intended reel on it before you buy?

This is purely hypothetical and obviously one mans/gals "The One" combo is going to be different from another's isn't it. So what's your "The One" combo?

You alright fellas Impatience (looks like Impotence before the jokes kick in aye lol ) is starting to get to me and I wanting to order an imported g loomis nrx or a st croix legend elite/xtreme jig and worm rod . After reading ridiculous amount of views, reviews, opinions etc etc I was wondering outside of custom rods what is regarded as the one? Also if you could win any combo of any jig and worm rod you wanted and any baitcaster reel you wanted to go together as your ultimate combo and it comes with a life time warranty on both , with no questions asked by the companies and you wouldn't even have to pay a penny in postage for returning them to be replaced if you ever needed or the replacements being shipped back to you , you wouldn't have to pay a single penny for anything to do with this combo so you wouldn't have to convince/treat/beg the missus for her to even agree to it .................................... Which would it be? Which rod? Which reel?

Theoretically if you can use a plastic that acts right visually and vibration wise with the correct presentation could it work or do you think it would spook the fish?

The colour red is the first colour to disappear from the spectrum with regards to depth of water but the leader will still be visible but just appear neutral grey fella aye.

Lendiesel22 great idea fella aye but isn't there a way around using electrical tape? Butt caps with specially fitted weights from the rod designers as standard with all models would be a better way wouldn't it fella? John G you fellas have got it good aye and the species of fish you have fella . We got European perch over hear to just over 6lb , Pike like you guys have , European zander or walleye as you guys call them and chub , which are in rivers only and lure fishing is no way near as popular here . There is a lot less of the species here in our rivers and they aren't stocked the way you guys have it either so you guys have got it awesome fella aye.
