Took my kayak out for the first time,I hooked a nice one lost it at the boat.This is a old town sit in kayak.I Learned a few thing like don't were hiking boots my legs were so cramp they went numb.anything in the kayak unless it is between your leg you wont beable to reach it.and anything on top kayak changes your center of gravity.getting in was ok.getting out it was different story.overal I like fishing from a kayak.just got to change some things

I knew you were gonna ask I had a rattle trap casting it down the shore line it snagged on something I could pull up felt like allot of weight then slowly it would go back down.Had to cut the line.it was on the side of the lake the road is on.Just a gut feeling something wasn't right.

I got snagged on something 20 years ago felt like a body creeped me out.never been back

I have a Daiwa hsta ,The knob handles are about gone.How do you get them off and replace them.

I fish Grand Lake and gravel pits,waitting on ice out gonna try Kayak basin this year

I like the RC3,works well around laydowns and brush.white my favorite color.fish them like a spinnerbait.

Just bought a Team daiwa L/T TL-721-2FS 7ft 2 spinning rod.I am going with a Team daiwa s 3000cu reel, I want to try finesse bass this spring.instead of heavy cranking all the time.Breaking the old habit

alee17 You caught fish they didnt.Keep fishing your game and dont let boaters push you out.Keep fishin your bank let them pass.Dont say a thing just smile and keep catching them.

FRY When I first started baitcasting I would pratice in my yard.I would throw diffrent weigh lures with out hooks. Line weigh made a diffence as well.it takes time .Are you fishing mostly crankbaits?I use 14-17 test on Norman DD22,POES,3/4 rattle traps.I like fishing gravel pits with deep divers.I would say my casts in the gravel pits range around 40-50 yds.it I put on a 1 OUNCE TRAP.I am guessing 50+ pratice.
