Hello more knowledgeable crowd than I, I'm coming into bass fishing from a mostly trolling for walleye background, and decided I needed a good bait-casting setup. As I'm in school right now, don't have a lot of funds, so I'm trying to get a good all around rod until I can broaden my collection. My reel right now is a left hand retrieve Abu Garcia Silver Max. I kind of narrowed it down to a Duckett Ghost, but don't know if I should get the 6' 10" Medium action or the 6'8" MH. Trying to keep in mind that this rod has to be able to do a majority of things, from jigs to rattle traps to T-rigged plastics... sooooo much stuff out there. If you have any suggestions (different rod etc) I'm definitely open to them. Thanks for helping out a fledgling bass angler! DaBassMasta
