  1. Personally, I have much more exp. with a spin, rather than casting
  2. Yeah, but those 1000+ pound are are not bass. This is a bass fishing site.
  3. Rodents are like Senkos...they work like magic, but you can get cheaper versions that work at least as well, and don't rip as often.
  4. Hey guy, I recently obtained a new reel, and it is AMAZING. I will be doing periodic post of how well it is running. I know my title is "Official Lewser", but that doesn't mean that I'm biased. I chose that title BECAUSE of this reel.
  5. Lipless cranks and square bills, that's the way to go.
  6. Congrats! Frogging is one of my favorite ways to catch a bass.
  7. Go for the job. ↑↑↑Also, what he said.↑↑↑
  8. Use lipless cranks, and square bills, they work great as search baits. Cast around some cover, and try to find the bites. Good luck!
  9. Rattles, vibration, and color selection are the key to muddy water. Go with black, yellow, chartreuse, and red baits, they are the most visible.

Hey guys, I thought I would start a thread on crank bait fishing tips. If anyone wants to offer their views on how to best work a crank, that would be awesome, and some new anglers can pick up some new skills!
  11. Black, Red, and Yellow are the best possible colors for frogs. I tend to go with black.
