  1. Welcome to the world of patience. Very rewarding once you catch your first bass on artificial lures or worms.
  2. Thanks man! I was the only one catching fish! Everyone was wondering what I was doing. I think patience is the key!

  4. Lmao!! Oh you know the usual with the crack bait. LOL! I live in Plantation by Broward Blvd, I normally fish wherever. I'm a pretty flexible guy. I like to try new areas out. By the way I'm not editing my original post, I think it's funny how I put crack bait.
  5. This is the first time I use that crankbait and that's what I get.LOL! I went to this park they recently opened in Griffin and it seems that there is only Tarpon. No Bass!!
  6. College will make you a well rounded person, but it won't make you a great fisherman. College is something that you really want to do, it's not for everyone. The decision of going to college has to come from you and not your parents. I seen a lot of people force into college or a university and then they end up dropping out.
  7. By the way that fish had teeth growing. I was like no way I'm sticking my fingers in his mouth lol.
  8. Yeah I tossed it back. The fish was beautiful though. I always catch and release all my fish. Thanks for that! Thanks!
  9. So I caught this fish in Broward county Florida. I have no clue what it is. Never seen it before. I thought It was a oscar but it;s not (I don't think).

  18. Are you talking about a jig like this one. I am posting the link here. http://www.walmart.com/ip/South-Bend-Crappie-Jig-1-16-oz/29318632
  19. Thanks for the response man! I been reading and people are saying that the bucktail jigs are really good for peacocks. I will be going to walmart tomorrow to see what I could find. The live bait is out of the picture for me I like to use fake lure to catch my fish. What color do you suggest me to get for the kvd?
  20. Hey can you take a picture of the jig you are using. I've never used one before and I am trying to catch peacock bass. I have a lake near by that is filled with them and they never hit my lures.
  21. Hey everyone I am very happy that I found this fishing forum! I have a question to ask you avid fishermens. I started going to a park called Wolf lake park here in Davie FL and there is a lot of peacock bass. Now I can't seem to hook one no matter what I use! I went to bass pro yesterday and I bought some rapala x-rap lure. One of the associates that works for bass pro suggested those lures for peacocks. I went super excited back to the park hoping I was going to finally catch some of those badboys and I had no luck. The peacocks would just swim by the lure and some were even scared. The water conditions are pretty clear you could actually see the fish swimming but they dont hit the lure. Can you guys share the secret on how to hook one of these badboys. Thanks, the depth of the water really depends on what area of the park you're in but ill say 3-5 shallow and 10-15 in other parts. I was so frustrated yesterday after not catching a peacock that a finally gave in and put a worm and i caught this beauty. My target fish is the peacock not bass.
