I've got two small slow charger/tender's that I use from Harbor Freight. When i'm not in the water, they're connected.

Academy has a spectacular long sleeve from Magellan. they are super thin, and down here in south Mississippi it helps with all the sun. i'm super tall, 6'7" and the sleeves are ALMOST long enough, which is okay with me.

+1 for Tracker as a first. I just purchased my Grandfathers 94 TX17 and it's perfect for what I wanted. Only has a Merc 40 on it which is a little slow, but it gets me going around 27. Rated up to a 70 horse, may upgrade if i have spare change laying around. anywho, love the boat, good big deck front and back, I like that pt 17 you posted.

OK, I bought this http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0000BVFUU/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and let me tell you the fit is nice on my MK 50 lb thrust. Took it out last night and well....my imaging was greatly hindered. DSI wasn't working right, nor was standard sonar, super "noisy" so i'll be putting mine back on my transom I reckon.

I still just dont know what to look for on my FF still. but that's another topic for another day i reckon.

For you guys that have the transducer on your TM, doesn't turning the TM mess with the direction it's reading? Have you noticed this does anything screwey? or does it let you "aim" ? I have the elite 5 hdi with the combo transducer. looking into mounting it on my TM instead of the transom.

Hello All, My grandfather passed away last March and I've been given the opportunity to purchase his beloved 1995 Tracker Pro 17. I've got many memories fishing with him, so when his daughters asked all the cousins if anybody was interested, i jumped at the chance!!! That being said, the boat is in PERFECT condition, it's always been stored indoors when not in use, no leaking issues, my father is a mechanic and has maintained the motor. It's go the Merc 40 motor, which I know isn't going to win any drag races....and i'm okay with that. Anyway, just wanted to stop in and introduce myself, super excited to get back into fishing. I live in hattiesburg, so whoever of you know of some sweet honey holes....lemme know.
