  2. Is there a club in our area? I just got into Bass Fishing, mostly a Catfishing guy myself.. I see you are from Hampton, I am actually right down the road from you in Ehrhardt......I mainly fish the creeks and rivers right now. Of course no boat so I dont get out on the lakes much.

  5. So I happened to be searching google for a time or area where the Bassmasters come and fish. Happen to find out the Classic next year is in the Upstate, about 3 hours from me. Anyways not only is the classic going to be there but the article I read says "The Bassmaster Classic Outdoors Expo, the consumer show held concurrently with the competition days, will be at the 280,000-square-foot TD Convention Center in Greenville." Someone who has never been to either or any of the matches for that matter. But the Classic Outdoors Expo sounds awesome! Can anyone tell me more about it? Also what can you actually do during the Classic? What is it like?
  6. Pellets are awesome... Especially if they have a automatic setup. Basically a set it and forget it for alot of the ones I have seen.

  9. I use a Thermacell. And Also have had good luck with 3M Ultrathon Lotion
  10. Don't own a tackle box, usually use a bucket to hold my catfishing stuff, and panfish stuff in a small box. So looking at getting a tackle box and setting it up for bass. What are some must have tools, equipment and baits? Also any tackle box recommendations?
  11. yeah agree with this for sure.. Not to mention in my area "5 Mins" would not be long enough for me to not figure out where the location was anyways. Especially if I know the first road off the main road my "friend" took me off of.
  12. I am usually using a Spinning Reel, and Zebo series reels... Its what I grew up on, and have always fished with it. Wanting to get into baitcasters, but dont want to break the bank and possibly not enjoy them. I have heard some people say they are not the easiest to learn. Any tips or techniques? Is their certain lures that you would not use on a baitcaster? Any cheaper one that is easy to learn on and get started with? thanks
  13. I carry a Glock .45 or a Kimber .45 almost all the time.. I am a huge fan of 1911s, planning on getting a custom Wilson Combat sometime in the future.
  14. New guy here. Love fishing.... Just getting into Bass FIshing. I am usually a Crappie, Bluegill, and Cat Fish guy. I usually fish from a dock or the side of the river near me. Getting a boat soon to do some more serious fishing ANyways I like this site, and cant wait to learn as much as I can!... thanks!
  15. I mainly fish Rivers around my area. Savannah River, Cumbie, Edisto, and possibly may try out some small lakes. I am beginning to save up to buy my first boat. Possibly looking at a jonboat or something similar. I have a family of 5 (my wife and I and three kids ages 8,6,5). Wife wont go fishing much, but she may ride on the boat for fun. Anyways looking for something to handle what I am needing. I am planning on saving up and paying Cash, possibly looking around $3-4,000 so it will be a used one more than likely. Any reocmmendations? Have been looking at Alumacraft and War Eagle. New to the differant designs and brands of boats to look for. A buddy recommended a 16 footer with a 25 HP Yamaha or Mercury.
