Took my vacation at work will be going with my wife and kids this year will be our first time so I am excited.

I am taking my family this year to it. What all is there to do? Never been to it so not sure what all there is too do for family? Me, my wife and 3 kids Luckily for us we are from SC so its only a 2 hour ride from the house.

So no boat yet but wanna go fishing. Looking for some good places to bank fish. Edisto River or whereever. Wanna take kids to enjoy some relax time.

I possibly have the chance at getting a 17 foot Bass Tracker with a 50hp motor for a good deal. Would it be a good starter bass fishing boat?

Ok so just starting to get more serious into bassing. So i bought some Yum Dingers and put them on a spinning rod i have.its a cheap walmart one. Went to lake and tried to fish them. One thing i noticed is theu sink slow and my line has alot of slack and seems to float on water. I would have to reel in to take out the slack. Is this normal when fishing senko type baits? Also since i am here. I plan On mainly fishing seno type baits, worms, jigs, frogs and dropshots and spinner or chatter baits. I may try out crank baits later on. Want to buy two or three pole and reels to combo that can cover most everything. Could you make some recommendations?

So my family and I are taking our annual long vacation next month. Will be going to visit her family in Tennessee and My family in Indiana. Will also be going to Kings Island or Cedar Point (havent decided which one) for kids to ride coasters So we have two days where we are trying to find stuff to do. One of the options was to stop by some nice stores We already have Smokey Mountain Knife Works on the list of course:) Kids are wanting to go (and me) to a fishing store. Here is where we will be .... Sieverville, TN and surrounding area Will be going through Tennessee and Kentucky to Indiana - Will be around Lexington, Louisville, etc.... Outside of Bass Pro Shops are there any stores in those areas???

Besides Craigslist... I have found some deals on Craiglist, but looking for a cheap bass boat, something to get started with. Would prefer to find something I can buy outright cash in hand, or certified bank check.
