  1. Strike king has a model (redfish magic) that might fit your bill, wally world stocks em, a lil pricey but they hold up well. Ive used the 3/8th versions and they do make a 1/8th version.
  2. EVERYTHING was covered in a nice sheet of ice this morning, once again no snow, just nasty depressing rain and cold.
  3. Cold and rainy....Always rain, as soon the snow storm hits the Chesapeake Bay it warms up and just friggin rains... Coming from SW PA I miss the snow.
  4. Trick worms and the only bait/technique Ill use straight shank worm hooks, It gives em a nice spin on the fall.
  5. Happy Bday n tight lines!
  6. Its amazing how resilent kids are, more often than not if something happens I think we as parents are worse off emotinally than the kids are physically lol
  7. My go to bait is a suspending jerkbait and a jig n craw....As far as lipless cranks go, what retrieve do yinz fish em with low water temps?
  8. Im with BlueBasser, I only go to BPS to handle something Im looking to buy. Once I found something I like Ill order it online.

  10. New swimbait/inshore reel
  11. $130 for a beach pass, 32.50 for tidal and non tidal in MD, includes crabbing license, $22.50 for Delaware and another $40 for ramp access...
  12. Not sure if its true buuuuuuut......Ive heard after 2 girls you have a 88% chance of a girl the 3rd time around..... I told my wife if the 2nd is a boy we can go for a 3rd but if its a girl Im calling it quits. I dont like the 12% odds lol
  13. Man sorry to hear, best of luck to both of ya. Burns gotta be the worse injury, I couldn't imagine what Id be like if it was my daughter. Prayers sent
  14. Maybe DVT can chime in but I know on the ABU ambassadors the spool tension is kept under tension by a plastic spring type piece that is known for breaking, my buddy would have issues because the spool during a cast would vary between tensions, lose to tight and vice versa causing the same issue your describing. Now this could all be pointless if your reel doesnt use the same thing but neverless I would start with the spool tension and go from there though, once the brakes are set they arent going to vary, the spool tension on the other hand has the possibility to vary. Just my .02
  15. Also Im with most, a perfect line would be nice, braid+fluorocarbon best of both worlds. Oh and clicking drag on low pro baitcasters, like spinning reels have...
